Coolsat Support D-DAY on Friday!!!!

As I had previously stated in my last blog post, I said my team and I would be very interested in picking up support for this line of coolsat that has recently been discontinued for support. We have made contact with a couple of veteran coders that are very familiar with the coolsat coding framework, and they have expressed their interest in joining on with the team. Before you guys get ahead of yourselves, the decision is NOT final yet. Tomorrow afternoon/evening, we will have a team vote deciding on if we can or cannot FULLY support this line of receivers. If we do pick up support, I'm not entirely sure what the Coolsat team will have to say about that, as they are discontinuing them solely to increase sales for their newer, upgraded receivers. Frankly, we do not give a flying F*ck; no disrespect to coolsat, I can understand what they are trying to do. Sales are down, and they need money.

If the coolsat support line is picked up by my team and I, we will make it very publicized so amateur coders can begin learning about it and be able to join the team and help us, as to relief pressure off of us;  like I said.. we do not get paid for this in any way, and we cannot always afford to be able to 100% support.

If the coolsat support line is NOT picked up by my team and I, I solely regret it as the customers of coolsat have been great putting up with this denial of service. Hopefully this will NOT be the case, but I am sorry if that's what it will have to be..

Please stay tuned on this blog for the next 1-2 days, as a final announcement WILL be made Saturday morning!!

I will announce the decision on this blog, even though the main website will be going back on Saturday evening; I know you guys wouldn't want to wait till then when a decision has been made lol.

Thanks for listening, lets hope for the best of luck from the team!

FTA-Tester.
